From the skill’s source repository:

Expo agent skills are the Expo team’s official skills for building, deploying and upgrading Expo apps.

The Expo agent skills give coding agents focused knowledge of Expo, EAS, React Native, iOS and Android: when to use which Expo API and how common workflows fit together. The repository says Expo’s documentation, Expo CLI and EAS CLI remain the source of truth; the skills help agents apply them. They follow the SKILL.md format, install as a plugin in Claude Code and Codex or through the skills CLI elsewhere, and are licensed MIT (README).

The skills come in groups. expo-overview is the entry point. Framework skills cover open-source work such as Expo Router navigation, animations, native UI, @expo/ui, data fetching, DOM components, native modules, brownfield apps, development clients and SDK upgrades. Services skills cover paid Expo Application Services: app store builds and submission, EAS Hosting, EAS Workflows, EAS Update and its insights, EAS Observe and the cloud simulator. An experimental group ships separately as the expo-experiments plugin. The expo plugin also bundles the configuration for Expo’s MCP server, so Claude Code and Codex plugin installs set it up as well.

Usage telemetry is off by default; when turned on (Claude Code only), the README says it sends the skill name, the platform and a hash of a random local install id, and never code, prompts or file paths.
