Sentry’s official MCP server, which brings Sentry errors, issues and traces into coding agents.

The Sentry MCP server is Sentry’s hosted service at mcp.sentry.dev, built for human-in-the-loop debugging inside coding agents. It gives agents access to Sentry errors, issues, traces and performance data. The remote HTTP server signs in with OAuth, and a local stdio mode uses a Sentry user auth token. It is licensed FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0, with setup shown for Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot in VS Code.

Tools search errors and events, triage and update issues, analyse traces and performance, read Sentry docs, and manage projects. The URL can be scoped to one organization or project. A stdio mode via npx @sentry/mcp-server also works with self-hosted Sentry, and its AI-powered search tools need an LLM provider key.
