Notion’s hosted MCP server for searching, reading and editing a Notion workspace from an agent.

The Notion MCP server is Notion’s official hosted server at mcp.notion.com/mcp. It lets agents search the workspace and connected apps, read and edit pages in Markdown, and work with databases. It runs over remote HTTP, signs in with OAuth only, with no bearer tokens, and respects each user’s existing Notion permissions. Notion’s docs show setup for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot in VS Code and Claude Desktop.

Notion’s older self-hosted makenotion/notion-mcp-server package is no longer maintained, and Notion recommends the remote server instead.
