Skill Creator is Anthropic’s skill for writing other skills.
The Claude Skill Creator helps create, improve, evaluate and benchmark new skills. It scaffolds new SKILL.md folders, runs evals against a skill, compares performance with variance analysis and tunes the description so the skill triggers at the right times, a useful starting point for a private skills library. Anthropic publishes it under Apache-2.0 in the example-skills plugin for Claude Code; it is pre-installed in the Claude apps on paid plans and available through the Skills API.
