OpenAI Codex

Codex Plus (OpenAI)

Price$20/month

Codex Plus is OpenAI’s $20-a-month plan for Codex on web, CLI, IDE extension and iOS.

Codex Plus limits are counted in local messages per five-hour period, by model: GPT-6 Astra 5-45, GPT-6.1 Sol 15-160, GPT-6 Sol 15-150 and GPT-6 Luna 350-3,000. Local messages and cloud chats share that allowance, ChatGPT credits extend it, and OpenAI’s Codex pricing page notes “Weekly limits may also apply”. The plan card lists GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. OpenAI pitches the plan as enough to “Power a few focused coding sessions each week”.

Usage: “Power a few focused coding sessions each week”; local messages per five-hour period: GPT-6 Astra 5-45, GPT-6.1 Sol 15-160, GPT-6 Sol 15-150, GPT-6 Luna 350-3,000; local messages and cloud chats share allowance; extend with ChatGPT credits
